WHAT IS THE WEEKEND OF FAITH IN ACTION?Every year. pardon International’s schedule to Abolish the Death Penalty hosts its “pass of Faith in Action,” a pass which serves as an opportunity for people involved in faith-based or (and. I add) ethics/values-based communities to examine critically the issue of capital punishment in our society. NYADP joins pardon this year in helping such communities have meaningful events.
WHAT TYPES OF ACTIVITIES act PLACE?In the past activities for this weekend have ranged moments of silence during a regular service to inserts in bulletins to candlelight vigils to hosting speakers to group letter-writings to watching a film to the tolling of bells to the signing of declarations of life.
