AKASA has unveiled its newest CPU cooler named Revo. Powered by thermodynamic "bubble-pump" technology the Revo promises noiseless cooling and high thermal performance.
It's quieter than heatpipe coolers cooler than conventional heatsinks and easier to fit—and safer—than watercoolers. This technology could revolutionize CPU cooling
says Adrian Young. Marketing Director of AKASA. With Revo's system heat is transported rapidly by dual-component fluid along a hermetically sealed circuit to an aluminum radiator. The radiator is cooled by conventional 92mm fan operating at 600 to 2200 RPM. The Revo weights only 330g and can be easily fitted on Intel LGA775. AMD socket 939. 940. 754 and AM2. Retail availability is yet to be announced.
It'll be the price that defines if it is revolutionary or not. Still it looks like they have put some work into these. Looking forward to some benchmarks.
Yes someone at TPU get a sample and let's see a review!.. wonder if a video separate version is in the works too.
Perhaps or its something that has been in the works. This thing looks like a nice idea cant wait for a TPU review.
Akasa has been working on the Revo for about two years now and no it's not TEC. It was first shown at CeBIT about two years ago and it's taken this long to get it alter. It should be quite affordable but don't evaluate it to be for high-end overclocking.
Great. ANOTHER cooler I can't use cos of it's odd profile causing it to rest that tall. Stupid Akasa :slap:
this cooler is different.. im guessing water under low pressure that begins moving due to heat causing convection.
new idea.. that is good. I evaluate they undergo sqeezed all the performance they can outa heat pipes.... I look forward to reading a review of this thing.....
