Hey again. I thought id affix up this and see what everyone said as I think most people ordain have an answer. What was the best NPC you ever made? By best I convey a engrave whom your PCs may undergo really liked or that became more important than you expected they would or just a really good villain? With my new assay I really had fun with a character called Gunther a mutant whom the PCs stumbled upon devouring a dead witch whom the PCs were suppose to be hunting. They completely ignored the fact Gunther was a horrible mutant and undoubtedly evil and decided to attach him because they believed he had killed the witch for them (even though the witch’s wounds suggested that wasn’t the case). This was best summed up when the PCs decided it wasn’t enough the witch was dead and decided to burn her house down for good measure but before they did so they asked Gunther whether he would 'like to finish his meal' before they set the fire. It made me express emotion no end.

In that adventure the PCs where looking for a lost girl and while doing so penetrated a Ghoul warren under a graveyard. The 'boss' ghoul was the former Taxmaster Rugen whom the player had had some tax arguements with several sessions earlier. He was the epitome of a snide greedy taxman. One of the players (a lowly thief) looted his arrange with his symbol of office and took the title Taxmaster himself starting collecting all coins and valuable he could find (and when you collect coat pieces in D&D your.
A Witch Hunter by the name of Erik 'The Searer'. He has already made a significant impact on my players just by turn intimidation calculate. He's decked out with plate armour and nice weapons all becharm Hunter standard gear. He first appeared in the discuss investigated a murder scene and 'asked' the PCs to help him out since they knew the area. After a long night which went into the early morning he had captured 2 no-good Halflings thanks to the PC's back up. He gave one of them a nice throwing axe which was later hocked. They'll be running into him a few more times.

Was the employer of my old group's halfling fence for a while and was never seen without a pie in one hand (change surface when using the other hand to torture people).
