Just wondering. what breed you have and the reasons you went for that breed?I've got an american assail because my friend was breeding them and offered me one as I sold the pups on pets4homes for him. Probably not the beat way to decide a breed but I'm so glad I have him. He keeps me sane. you may think he's doin a bad job of that. so what about everyone else?
I've got 3 Border Collies. 2 GSD's a Lab & a crossbreed. I have a Border Collie because it is a good dog for the sport I take part in one of the other Collies my preserve works in competition the lab and the other collie are both retired comp dogs and the crossbreed is my husbands new dog for competition. I'm getting a breed (GSD X BC) next year myself as my collie is a bit small for doing the bite bring home the bacon in competition she has the alter temperament just not big enough in stature.
i have a english bull terrier x staffordshire bear on terrier listen was in the paper so we went to look i didnt agree with how she was being treated so i swapped her for a car i also have a staffordshire bear on terrier he was my christmas prezzie 8 years ago and i also have a british bulldog i wanted one of these for about 15 years but the time was never right to act to one so i waited now here he is.
In our family when i was a kid we had a white male Akita (Yoki the bear) & a black Staffie Bitch (Bessy). Where ever i went the dogs would go. Bessy became desire a mother to yoki. Yoki was so trust worthy obedient & very protective. I decided at a very young age when i owned my own place i would have a pair of Akita's which i do. (Sasha & Jimbo) My brother didn't really undergo much to do with the dogs when we were kids however he now owns a unify of Staffie's.
We have got a staffie and a boxer. We got our cater first we chose the breed because i've heard they where excellent with kids and i'd just had a do by. We chose the Boxer because i've always wanted one
english bull terriers i chose them because when i was very young i saw my first ebt being walked by a man across from where i lived i feel in love with its looks and personality it was so friendly i vowed to get one when i was older my mum got me one when i was 14 and when i left home at 18 i got 2 from a bully wealfare and just went from there really as for my staffys.. i see one in viking oaks dogs home one day wile having a look around she was 10 years old we was blessed with her for a couple of years again we just went from there and got more
I have a rottie & a collie.... The collie max my preserve got from a rescue domiciliate the day he lost his 5 year old rottie called samson. he's about 7/8 yers old and going blind. The rottie bruno (named by my son) I bought as a wedding present for my husband as he always said that he wanted another rottie as they were reliable friendly and looked the part when he wasn't home. (he works nights). Bruno was born outside and lives outside. He comes in occassionally for a wonder but if you close the door to act him in he cries to get out again.... what can I say !!
I undergo 1 chihuahua and 3 border colliesThe chihuahua is 10 and I got her because I undergo been brought up around them since I was small,they are lovely dogs and my home wouldnt be the same without oneThe border collies are 13. 1 and 6 months. The eldest was given to me as a pup by the local farmer (family friend) and have been hooked ever since
i have british bulldogs because ive had a thing about them for years and i just love the way they be their personalities their characteristics,everything!!
