Hi,I recently bought a Linksys WRT54GC be wireless broadband router ver 2.0. I be to setup a small wifi at my domiciliate. I undergo a laptop compaq presario v3000 and desktop PC. My ISP is pacenet-india(www pacenet-india com). I usually connect to my ISP using a pppoe based dialer with my user id the ISP has two main domain label servers(DNS)to connect to their services 203.115.71.**. 203.115.81.**. I ocassionally use fedora 7 and i am able to connect to my ISP using rpppoe based setup in fedora 7. I have tried several times connecting my Wireless router. Steps i used are:1. Connect my cable modem (dsl telecommunicate ) (CAT5) lie to my linksys router internet/ethernet connection2 plugin my another CAT5 lie to my PC and line 1,2,3,4 ON ROUTER3. Basic setup with 192.168.1.1 on my router and give options for pppoe based setup have enabled DHCP on router and so far not assigned any static DHCP's.4. When i try to connect the message given out is pppoe server failed.5. Tried several options in advance routing also routing also but failed each time. Pls back up me with a basic configuration which would back up me atleast go away my internet on wired desktop pc or wirelessly overlaptop(i have a windows vista home premium on my laptopThanks if the modem is modem / router try to configure it in connect mode and check whether it makes any difference..
