I’m finally getting back to using my board as a frontend. The goal here is to configure it to run with a CF card for booting and a wireless card to communicate with the backend and use the TV-output connected to our TV in the living room. Long ago I started out on this project using a small system called which essentially network boots the board to run it as a diskless frontend. I then migrated to rolling my own distribution using the steps outlined by the communicate. come up life gets busy and the best laid plans don’t always work out. I’m now back on this project and have found that MiniMyth has evolved a bit since I last used it. Enough so that I can now muck with it enough to try and get the one missing conjoin added to it: wireless networking via the drivers. Dear friends:I have just purchased a small system composed by a mainboard EX10000. 400Gb SATA harddisk and a DVD-RW unit. My video create is throug the DVI connector of the mainboard connected to the HDMI input connector of my 32" LCD HD-Ready TV. As operating system. I can lay Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista ultimate. I have installed all the drivers coming into the CD provided with my mainboard and I undergo installed the last version of VGA driver downloaded from VIAARENA web summon. Hi all,I've just bought a new Epia LN and have been using a Epia M before. Today I installed the new Epia and after pressing the power button the power led turns green for a very short amount of time (less than a second) and then turns off again. The same for the NIC leds when I close in the power chord they start burning after pressing the cater add they move off again. I'm wondering do the new Epia series require a more powerfull PSU than the older ones? change surface without a HD and without ram it comfort goes the way I described above. No go or anything. Does anyone undergo a suggestion?

Hi there,I've just got a brand new EPIA-EX15000G. I've got it wired to a bench PSU with some adorn connectors (cater/reset change by reversal. LEDs and speaker) and installed the RAM DIMM. This is connected to a monitor via the DVI socket. When I power on the power LED illuminates and the CPU fan starts spinning. But normally nothing else happens no beeps and no video ouput. I say normally because I've seen the viaembedded splash screen be displayed a couple of times and the system fasten. If I remove the RAM and boot. I get a long constant mouth - the speaker is correctly wired at least. I've tried erasing the CMOS with the jumper and also be removing the battery for a few minutes. But comfort no joy Reading other forum posts it seems this is not an uncommon problem particularly if the memory is bad. I've bought a brand new DIMM of the following spec: DDR II SDRAM CL4 Non-ECC Unbuffered DIMM 240-pin PC2-4200 533 MHz 64 x 64 Unbuffered 512 MB I got it here: As far as I can tell this meets the requirements of the motherboard as listed in the manual. I have seen other posts say that 64x8 should be used though and that higher densities don't work. Is anyone else able to confirm that this Corsair part does not bring home the bacon with the EPIA-EX motherboard or that it is authorise and something else is more likely wrong? Regards,Mike Hi there,A quick update - I ordered some guaranteed compatible RAM from ORCA using overnight delivery. I believe this to be the same spec but also 64Mx8. This RAM does not dress the behaviour of the board and I've not tried a different cater supply too. I guess the come in was DOA and am contacting the seller to see if there are any other things to analyse before I communicate RMA

I undergo an EPIA EN15000 fanless motherboard on which I am using the integrated video chipset. I've been digging around in the forums and decided to change the "adorn type". No matter what I change it to the output does not fit my LCD monitor. For instance in write 0008 the top left corner of the screen takes up the entire monitor with the edges being cut off. Windows is now in 1024x768 mode and each pixel in windows is two pixels on my monitor. On type 0006 my monitor told me the communicate was out of be and I had to reset the CMOS. On 01 and 02 the video output almost fits the screen (the edges are comfort somewhat cut off) but I can't use a resolution bigger than 800x600 because the video output doesn't fit on my monitor. I undergo not tried any adorn type greater than 08 but there is no adorn type at which the video create fits the observe perfectly no matter what resolution Windows is at (the BIOS and console video create get cut off as well). I have installed the latest drivers but when I use them the video card stops sending a communicate after Windows boots. I have also updated the BIOS to the most recent version. gratify back up freddy

Hello,I am planning on a HTPC communicate using an EX board with a full-feature DVB-C card. I'm wondering that would I be able to connect the motherboard to my TV directly from the component video output with a SCART telecommunicate that has three leads to R. G and B. I've noted than in the bios ( summon 42) you can setup TV H/W Layout to for dilate "R/G/B". Does anybody know what actually happens from this setting? I'm hoping it ordain set the component video create to send out and RGB signal compatible with European TVs with a RGB SCART. HelloI want to buy VIA EPIA CN10000EG. I be SATA give and mainly radiate booting ability. I cannot sight the enumerate of VIA EPIA BIOS allocate features. So.. Is there such posibility? Are there any problems with booting from radiate? I be to set up a domiciliate low power router with software assail 1 under linux but mainly i be a possibility to boot from flash.
