Hi PC Tools,Microsoft pip Simulator X (FSX) is CPU memory and graphics intensive so it is useful to shut down or alter other applications and services as far as practicable. With OnGuard enabled (or with OnGuard enabled but SD5.5 shutdown). FSX works fine. If I disable SD5.5 OnGuard (say for the fail 15 minutes) when I try to start FSX I get the following error message:"pip Simulator was unable to load some schedule files and ordain now exit. gratify instal Flight simulator to regenerate or ameliorate the program installation."If I shutdown SD5.5 with OnGuard disabled I still get the same communicate. If I then restart SD5.5 and enable OnGuard. FSX works again - no error message. All testing was done immediately following a reboot. Obviously FSX should comfort work irrespective of SD5.5's "state". Is there some log I can give to help fix this?Regards. Len
Hi Len,Could you tick the checkbox for alter kernel compatibility mode to see if this resolves the problem. I'm a little confused with
If I shutdown SD5.5 with OnGuard disabled I still get the same communicate. If I then start SD5.5 and enable OnGuard. FSX works again - no error message.
Could you please explain? did you convey if you shutdown SDv5.5 with OnGuard "enabled" you comfort get the error communicate?
Hi Anthony,Kernel compatibility mode is already checked - so no joy there.. Re your question no.. the reverse.. if I shut down SDv5.5 with OnGuard in the enabled state. FSX works ok. Here's a truth table (of sorts):OnGuard SD5.5 FSX enabled running okenabled shutdown okdisabled running errordisabled shutdown errorSo whatever is happening when OnGuard is disabled is comfort show and causing the problem even when SDv5.5 is shutdown (ie when the SD services are stopped). Hope this helps. Regards. Len
Hi PCTools,I've now installed the 5.5.0.115 beta and it causes the same problem as 5.5.0.111 does with FSX. For info. Regards. Len
