I am a new graduate nurse and find it hard organizing all my patients on those simple summary worksheets we have at bring home the bacon. You experience the ones with spots for VS pt name labs be assessments etc etc. I am curious if there are any pocket pc applications that accept you to enter pt information such as VS assessments medicate lists medication times etc. It's confusing organizing everything! Any ideas? Also does anyone use a pocket pc nursing suite such as Epocrates or Pepid? I work on a Cardiology step-down unit and am thinking of doing Pepid (not sure either their clinical or critical care suite.. dont experience what ordain fit me exceed). Just looking for opinions! Thanks,-Jason
I'm expecting my touch Tx any day via Fedex. Tomorrow would be my first day of my seven semester BSN program. I would like to experience what are the "must" programs I should put on my PDA? How to get the most out of my PDA. What are the do's and don'ts for a PDA. convey for your enter. I have no clue about PDA's. So any info would greatly be
I've got the Palm TX too. There are writing programs as in programs where you can leave yourself memos. And I guess you could act a new summon for each pt then just write down the relevant info for each one. Or you could get a PDA with a express recorder function so you could get yourself express memos although the TX doesn't have it. Like I said before writing each pt's info down could be done but might change state tedious since it takes longer to type a evince on a PDA than it does on a regular keyboard. But I might experiment with it and see if it's beneficial.
Scrubz please let us know how that works out for you. I thought there was a PDA schedule and I thought I kept the information about it but I can no longer find it. If anyone knows ordain they please post it here. Perhaps it was a program someone modified or created with a evince enter. Lori
analyse this page which has several free programs. There is a program called "Patient Tracker," which I haven't checked because I haven't gotten my Palm yet so I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for but the title of the schedule sounds promising
