Is it possible to add additional slots for RDRAM so I don't undergo to waste 2 128s in request to up RAM? I undergo 2x128 & 2x256 total 768 - System is slow so want to up to nearer 2GB before RDRAM obsolete.
Also any cheap places to buy it? Wondered about Ebay.
As far as upgrading to 2GB at the prices and availability of RDRAM you may want to put that towards a new PC that doesn't use the high priced RDRAM. Once you spend all the money on the memory you will still have the 8200 PC and whatever go it ordain work at just have more memory and more memory ordain not make the PC run faster.
I have an older PC with 512MB RDRAM. I did an evaluation and decided a new PC even a new entry aim PC is far better than the old PC with RDRAM and limited upgrading of processor and video. I see new Dell PC's advertised for under $500. Same with the Dell refurbished PC's.

Thank you for your speedy say - I evaluate I didn't be to face up to replacing it yet - but undergo done all the things 'they' suggest to go it up.
I undergo a Gateway 700S which is the same "vintage" as the 8200 and uses RDRAM. I comfort have the PC as my "evaluate PC" but undergo replaced it with this E510 for regular PC operations. The Gateway has all standard ATX components not Proprietary components like the Dell but it still wasn't worth upgrading.
